Founded in 2009 by two off-duty Bay Area Firefighter/Paramedics, Lionheart Safety has grown from a small community training effort into a statewide leader in emergency preparedness. Our team of first responders and educators delivers CPR, AED, and First Aid certification, MERT programs, Fire Safety training, Earthquake Preparedness, and EMSA-approved Child Care Provider courses.
We provide authentic, hands-on instruction grounded in real-world experience—training that is engaging, low-stress, and built to develop courageous responders.
The Beginning of a Mission
Founded as Revive
Lionheart Safety Training began in 2009 under the name REVIVE, founded by two off-duty Bay-Area Firefighter Paramedics with a shared passion for excellence in education. Their mission was simple: make lifesaving training professional, engaging, and stress-free.
In the early years, the team offered AHA and ASHI 2-year certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid — establishing a strong foundation in real-world emergency training.

Expanding Education & Evolving Identity
Transitioned to Lionheart Safety
Between 2011 and 2016, the company expanded beyond core CPR and First Aid offerings. New programs included MERT instruction, Fire Extinguisher training, Earthquake Preparedness, and State-recognized Child-Care Provider First Aid.
As the scope of services grew, so did the brand. This period reflects the transition from REVIVE to the values-driven identity that would eventually become Lionheart Safety — rooted in courage, service, and community impact.
